Instinct, the AI assistant gaining significant attention in the tech world, has launched a new feature that assigns users dedicated Instinct email addresses. This development allows the AI to independently create and manage accounts, communicate with businesses, and handle follow-ups without involving the user directly or filling their personal inboxes.

Founder Noah Shinn explained that these email addresses enable Instinct to perform tasks such as signing up for services, contacting restaurants for special requests, or checking availability with businesses. By doing so, the assistant can complete complex tasks more seamlessly, reducing the need for users to provide login credentials or manually intervene.

This feature also complements Instinct’s recent partnership with 1Password, which facilitates secure login to existing accounts. Users can forward relevant emails, like order confirmations, to their Instinct email, allowing the assistant to manage processes such as product returns by communicating directly with support teams and providing necessary details.

Additionally, Instinct’s email can be added to group conversations or long email threads, enabling the AI to track information, identify pending decisions, and manage deadlines. The assistant operates autonomously but will prompt users when their input is required.

Instinct has reserved some email addresses for early adopters, with others available at mail.instinct.com. This feature is part of a broader effort to enhance the assistant’s functionality, which includes location-sharing capabilities for personalized recommendations and a Stripe integration for streamlined payments and bookings.

By enabling AI-driven email management, Instinct aims to simplify user interactions with digital services, offering a more efficient and private experience amid growing concerns over sharing personal contact information.
