At the Telluride Film Festival, attendees experienced a surprise screening of a new documentary about Elizabeth Holmes, the former Theranos CEO. The film, titled "You Can See Everything," was co-directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim and runs nearly three hours. It captures Holmes and her husband, Billy Evans, during the 34 days leading up to her reporting to federal prison in May 2023, where she began serving an 11-year sentence for defrauding investors regarding her blood-testing technology.
The documentary provides unprecedented access, with Fielder reportedly living in the couple's guest house during filming. The film also features an A-list actress who becomes part of the narrative. Since her conviction, Holmes has pursued legal appeals and a clemency petition, which remains under review. The documentary is scheduled for release by A24 in October.
