At the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology conference, Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang outlined why he expects the company to sustain its rapid growth through 2025. Huang emphasized Nvidia’s dominant role in the AI ecosystem, highlighting that the company’s products are integral to nearly every major AI model and lab, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
Huang addressed misconceptions about Nvidia’s GPU business, explaining that modern AI GPUs are complex systems valued at millions of dollars each, far beyond the consumer graphics cards of the past. He noted that Nvidia ships thousands of these high-performance units, which combine millions of components and require significant power.
One flagship product, a system combining 36 Grace CPUs with 72 Blackwell GPUs, is experiencing 27% month-over-month sales growth, underscoring strong demand. Nvidia has forecasted revenue growth of approximately 70% year-over-year, potentially reaching around $680 billion in 2025, up from an expected $400 billion this fiscal year.
Huang attributed this confidence to Nvidia’s extensive visibility into the AI industry, facilitated by partnerships with cloud providers, OEMs, AI startups, and data center operators worldwide. He described how Nvidia tracks data center developments globally, giving the company insight into infrastructure trends and customer needs.
The CEO also addressed Nvidia’s investment strategy, which involves funding companies that purchase its technology. Huang clarified that these investments are backed by solid customer contracts, minimizing risk and generating significant returns.
While acknowledging that AI infrastructure efficiency may improve as the industry matures, Huang remains bullish on Nvidia’s position. The company’s comprehensive involvement across AI hardware, software, and ecosystem partnerships positions it to continue benefiting from the sector’s expansion.
