Noise is introducing a new approach to influencer marketing by enabling everyday people to become paid content creators. Unlike traditional influencer campaigns that rely on established personalities with large followings, Noise allows anyone to join its platform and participate in brand campaigns across social media channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Creators are compensated based on the number of views their content generates, rather than receiving a fixed payment.
Brands using Noise can submit content briefs and budgets, after which the platform manages the recruitment, content creation, and payment processes. This automation allows companies to run campaigns with thousands of creators simultaneously, reducing operational complexity and costs.
The startup recently secured $5.5 million in seed funding led by Capital Midwest, M25, and Grishin Robotics, bringing its total funding to $7.2 million. Noiseâs foundersâDiego Kafie, Stu Feldt, and Nic Weberâpreviously developed a mobile game app and leveraged a similar grassroots marketing strategy that inspired the platformâs concept. Today, Noise hosts 1.5 million creators, some of whom earn six-figure incomes annually.
Currently, many Noise clients are mobile app companies and startups seeking affordable influencer marketing solutions. The platformâs Organic-to-Ads program allows brands to amplify creator content by running paid ads on Meta and TikTok, extending reach beyond organic posts.
Noise provides training modules to help new creators develop skills and access higher-paying campaigns over time. CEO Diego Kafie emphasizes that the platform democratizes content creation, making it accessible to anyone with a smartphone. This model offers brands diverse content at lower costs while giving millions of people an opportunity to earn money online without the barriers typically associated with becoming an influencer.
